Lovely art and an unusual poem. I don't doubt trees can communicate--I've wondered if they speak through their own leafy language or silently. When our family has visited groves of ancient trees (such as redwoods), wisdom and a timeless quality can be felt.
Conversations of the Ents from JRR Tolkien are some of my favourite parts of the Lord of the Rings Trilogy--and I find it very interesting that their decision to act takes time and is made in community. Bless you, Bill!
