I have not been communicating much recently and don’t want anyone to draw the wrong conclusions.
Here’s my status. I’m back in treatment in the Phase 1 immunotherapy trial. Kathi says that I look a little better each day, and my gait is a little more robust. Even though there’s always something going wrong, we seem to be able to manage it. Every third day or so, I touch a deeper stratum of exhaustion than the day before, but that’s part of what aging is about.
There are many explanations for what’s happening, so many that it is impossible to attach a probability to the proposition that “the treatment is working.”
However, treatment may be working.
Thank you Bill. For sufficiently generous definitions of "working" and "treatment," the treatment is definitely working. You have essentially declared it and believe it. That is enough and all we are truly entitled to expect.
I love the light of the sun in the painting. It says so much about you.
